Which Debts Can Be Included in an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA)?

Normally any unsecured debt can be included within an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) such as:

• Store cards
• Credit cards
• Personal loans
• Overdrafts
• Personal debts to the Inland Revenue and HM Customs & Excise

Secured loans such as mortgage arrears and vehicle hire purchase agreements cannot be included within an IVA.
